Dr. Greg Novelli and his wife Jenni purchased ACVC in January 2009. He is a graduate of Peters Township High School and Virginia Tech. He then attended Veterinary school at the University of Georgia and graduated in 2001. Before purchasing ACVC, he spent time working in Hilton Head, SC, Louisville, KY, and here in Pittsburgh. His family at home consists of only 4 legged members, including 3 Dobermans (Slick, Rage, and Quint), a Greyhound (Ferris), a Pitbull (Drizzle), a border collie (Sloane) and seven cats (Pillsbury, Stony, Triangle, Alotta Phalanges, Crag, Maizey and Peter) When not at work, he enjoys fishing and golfing as well as watching whichever Pittsburgh sports team may be playing.
Jenni began working as a kennel technician while still in high school. Since then, she’s held every imaginable position at a vet clinic, with the most recent being practice manager at ACVC. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with Greg and the pets. Additionally, she does agility and conformation with the dobermans and border collie.

Hi, I’ve worked for Affordable Care Vet Clinic since 1996. I enjoy working with all the dogs and cats and their people who came to visit us. I am married with three grown children. We have 5 dogs, 3 rough collies: Savannah, who I compete in agility with, Firefly, and new baby London, 2 Maltese: Squeak and Hercules who sometimes do agility but prefer to sit in laps and watch TV. We also have three cats Chelsea, Nemo, and Willow (who rule the house). I also teach foundation and beginners agility at Keystone Canine Club. How lucky are we to be able to work with wonderful pets and clients and great doctors!
Started at Median School that turned into Vet Tech Institute and graduated in 2004. Rescued my cattle dog mix Ruthy from school. Have a very cute cat named Buddy.
I’ve been working at Affordable Care since 2012. Started caring for critters at a young age and never stopped, I have more cats than the average bear and an old lady pitbull named Brandi. I work with several rescue groups doing TNR and I foster kittens and medical cases. I hope to open a cat sanctuary/hospice in the future and always be a crazy cat lady.
I moved to Finleyville in 2014 to work at Affordable Care Veterinary Clinic. Previously, I lived in Louisville, KY and worked in the veterinary field for over 12 years. I am the proud owner of multiple Long-Haired Chihuahuas, an English Toy Spaniel, and a variety of other furry friends. Even though it can be difficult, senior rescue is a passion of mine. No matter how little time I may have with my seniors, I wouldn’t change it for the world. In my free time I participate in AKC canine agility competitions.
I grew up and still reside in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. I started at the clinic in November 2016 after being a happy client for about 9 years. When I’m not loving all the critters that come into the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, teaching fitness classes, homesteading, hunting, target shooting and hiking. My husband and I love rescue animals and love to spoil our rottweiler, 3 cats, chickens and many fish! My connection to animals has been important since I was a little girl, and I am grateful to help extend that love to our clients and their precious pets.
Hi, I currently live in the south hills with my husband, dog and two kitties. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, camping and crafting. I have always had a passion for animals and feel lucky to work alongside those who do as well. Next time you are in, adopt one of our wonderful kittens who are looking for their forever homes.
I have 4 wonderful children. In addition, I have 3 dogs, 5 cats and 1 rabbit. I’ve been a technician with ACVC for 3 years, and almost 20 years overall. In my spare time, I like to camp.
I have two beagles at home and recently added a yellow lab. I have been a vet tech since I graduated from Penn State in 2016 with a degree in veterinary and biomedical sciences. Originally from Valley Forge, I moved to Monongahela in 2017 and started working at ACVC soon after. In my spare time, I love to spend time outside hiking, camping, and fishing.
I have been a vet tech since 2010 when I graduated from the Vet Tech Institute. Early in 2015, I became certified in Veterinary Technology and a few months later, started working at ACVC. When I’m not working, I love to go off-roading with my boyfriend Mike in our Chevy Truggy. We live happily with our 9 very spoiled cat-kids, Zoe Bean, Chester Femur, Boo Bear, Mya Sako, Mama Matani, Penelope (said Peen-a-lope), Hendrix, and Cass.
Hi! I am a 2017 Vet Tech Institute graduate. I’ve been passionate about animals since I was very young and started rescuing cats ate age 11. I am a huge advocate for TNVR (trap, neuter, vaccinate, release) and spaying and neutering. When I’m not at Affordable Care, I like to go to concerts, travel the world, and hike with my boyfriend, Andrew and my two dogs, Rhett and Fenrir. In addition to my pup, I have 3 cats- Legacy, Cori, and Persephone.
I began working at the clinic in January of 2018. I am currently attending California University of Pennsylvania for pre-veterinary medicine. I maintain working at the clinic even while I am attending school. I have known for as long as I can remember that I wanted to go to school for veterinary medicine, as I have always had an interest in helping others and a passion for animals. Working for ACVC has given me the opportunity for an innumerable amount of hands-on learning experiences that I am able to take with me on my path to my future in veterinary medicine.
I began working at the clinic in the summer of 2016. Currently, I attend Otterbein University, majoring in Zoo and Conservation Science. On my summer and winter breaks, I return to the clinic to work, learn and enjoy the experiences the clinic presents. At home in the South Hills, I have a basset hound and soft wheaten terrier mix named Cookie. From as far back as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to become a veterinarian and the staff at ACVC has enriched my knowledge and given me incredible up close and personal opportunities. In my free time, I enjoy going for a run or playing the viola, bassoon, or saxophone.
I started working at Affordable Care Veterinary Clinic in June 2019 after graduating from the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh. When I am not at work, I am usually spending time with friends and family or watching Netflix with my cat.
Dawn started working at ACVC in 2009. She is our head surgery technician and oversees the surgery patients from start to finish. She lives with her husband and adorable daughter.
As a very small child, I had a connection and unbreakable bond with dogs. This led me to become a trainer, animal lover and advocate. Additionally, I have been a part of the beauty/teaching industry for 22 plus years and have a medical background. Fate brought me to ACVC and for that I am grateful.
Hi, I’m Carly. I originally grew up in Greensburg, PA but recently moved closer to Pittsburgh. As a child, I owned a gray long-haired cat named Tucker that lived to be 14 years old. I’ve always had a love for animals, art and helping others. Eventually I’d love to build a log cabin with a big yard so my animals have a peaceful area to run and play. On the side, I have my own business where I laser etch tiles for deceased pets. I also enjoy photographing pets and people!
I’ve loved animals since I was little and always wanted to work with or around them. I have a cat named Oliver and a keeshound named Meeko.
