Carol Shoemaker – I’ve been working at Affordable Care Veterinary Clinic as a receptionist since 1998. Since I was 4, I have always had a passion for horses and cats. I enjoy spending my free time with my granddaughter Alexis, and doing rescue work to help socialize unwanted cats and kittens so they can be placed in their forever home.

Sharon Hareza – Hi, I’ve worked for Affordable Care Vet Clinic since 1996.  I enjoy working with all the dogs and cats and their people who came to visit us.  I am married with three grown children.  We have 2 rough collies:  Savannah, who I compete in agility with and Firefly, our new puppy; 2 Maltese, Squeak and Hercules who sometimes do agility but prefer to sit in laps and watch tv; Four cats Chelsea, Nemo, Tina and Willow (who rule the house).  I also teach foundation and beginners agility at Keystone Canine Club.  How lucky are we to be able to work with wonderful pets and clients and great doctors!  Can’t wait to get in our new building.

Dawn Barcala – I currently live in the Mon Valley with my husband of 14 years.  We rescued several cats over the years and have 3 dogs; A red-bone coonhound, a beagle and a husky.  I have been a vet tech for 13 years and have worked at Affordable Care since Dr. Greg and Jenni Novelli purchased the clinic in 2009.  I look forward to life in our new, bigger facility.

Melinda Procoffie – Started at Median School that turned into Vet Tech Institute and graduated in 2004.  Rescued my cattle dog mix Ruthy from school.  Have a very cute cat named Buddy.

Carol Jacoby – I live in the Mon Valley with my daughter and many pets including a pitbull named Brandi and a Guinea Pig named Leonard. I spend my time off working with several rescue groups. I foster and socialize feral kittens to be adopted out. I have worked for Dr. Novelli for two years and look forward to many more.
